Active exhaust question

Is there a active exhaust after market kit that allows you to use the factory harness and factory settings. Just want to get a deeper tone but dont want to lose that feature.

I thought Borla had AE systems? I sure some others do also.

Many suppliers have their own AE setups. Check out the market, lots of options.

Either look into a resonator delete (H or X pipe) or one of the vendor's replacement mufflers that can still use the AE solenoids and harness (Corsa being one of a few).

All of Borla's AE systems for the Mustang use the factory harness/actuators, I know that for a fact. I believe Corsa is the same as well

Honestly, get an H-pipe. I have a 19 with the active exhaust as well. Once I did the res delete and put an H-pipe in, it was PERFECT for me. A small bit louder in track mode, and a deeper tone from idle all the way up.

If you aren't looking for a significant increase in volume and only want a slight change of tone i would recommend just adding in a H Pipe resonator delete as others have stated above. Saw where Flowmaster has their active mufflers, you just have to put your actuators on em.
