Any car running 24 hr LeMans. I didn't know that a year ago, but evidently ABS not permitted for any classes at LeMans. They can adjust brake bias F:R but that's it.
Thanks but i really doubt that the guy is racing at le Mans

Curious, which racing organization and class requires that ?
Scca American Sedan.

And abs is an option to run at lemans but not a requirement. Some gt3 manufacturers offer it as an option on the cars and some it comes with it already.

Also there is a new player aside from the Bosch motorsport and continental units. Company called DeltaABS (deltaabs.com) has a new kit for $4295 (as advertised). 1/2 the price of the Bosch system. Im looking into it for a new car I am building for a client. will learn more when I can talk to them in person at pri show

Not trying to just disable, trying to remove the system completely.
FWIW unless it's an unregistered track only car, I'd just disable on the track. Permanently disabling or removing would put you in a world of hurt if you were involved in an injury accident that results in a trial.

If he's running American Sedan with SCCA, this car has nothing to do with being a streetable one.

And to everyone, you cannot disable the abs by unplugging the "dyno" plug - it only stops the stabilitrack from engaging. If you just unplug the brake module ro pull the wheel sensors to disable it the cars will go into limp mode and throw a ton of codes as its all connected on the can bus (there are 3 cans bus systems on the gen 2 and gen 3 cars that are all integrated together). In order to remove the abs you must remove the complete wiring harness and modules then install the control pack from ford. There also is no law that says the car must retain its abs for street use. I have my fed vehicle mfg license and build cars all the time with no abs.
