replacing the boots are easy and not what im looking to do (well I will have to do that when I reassemble the axles). didn't know if there was a secret for disassembled the outer joint. Guess its juts bang away until the clip lets go.

does anyone know how to disassemble the outer cv joint? The inner one is cake. Im rem treating all the cv guts and reassem with good ultra high melting point grease as im killing them after 2 races. Am I missing a clip or not banging it hard enough? I can't get it apart. Thanks!

the mishi one doesn't triangulate to the cowl. I have heard other racers say that the s550 chassis is stiff enough to not need it (some have data to prove it). Thoughts?
