I have noticed that when the wheel is turned to a certain degree and the vehicle is in low gear it wont shift up meaning it over revs 1st until I uncut the wheel, is this traction control kicking in. I run in sport mode all the time.
Anyone else notice this with the A10?

turn the steering wheel back to a neutral non turned position
Now I know. I know ABS looks at steering angle, not sure about TC.

I'm willing to bet that it's built into the shift strategy to not shift and upset the car while turning. Have you tried slightly backing off the throttle to see what happens?

It could be set up like the 2019 fusion sport I traded in for my 21 mach. It had technology thar sensed wheel steer around a curve in sport mode. It would always keep it in a lower gear to have higher rpms so you could punch it coming up out of the turn. Like you would want on a road course for example
