Not sure why this has suddenly gone viral, as it's an old, old Photoshop :)

Perhaps the reason is................it's a GREAT idea! I'd love to see a full 4-seater GT based on a (stretched) S550 platform.

TT, I never saw it before.

Pinero, that's at odds with TT, either way, I didn't say it was real. It's obviously photoshopped. I just said it is a cool idea.

I still like the idea of a Lincoln s550 based car taking true GT idea to the next level.

I think a slightly stretched S550-based Torino would be awesome. Something my dad would drive. Stretch it about 4 inches all for interior room, have the 2.7 Ecoboost as the base engine and the 5.0 as the GT. Give it a classy interior with an emphasis on comfortable cruising and great standard features like navi and cooled seats.

Yep, focus on luxury, quality and space, yet still be a sporty ride.

Just looks at this thing :hail:

I love the way the rear 3/4 window on this rendering (2018 Mustang, PLEASE!) rises in a similar fashion to the Torino :)

I like the idea of it too, just a bad example of what could be an amazing car.

I wish ford would quit murdering classics... i say no. If they want a fast 4 seater, drop a v8 in the taurus. Ford gets too cheesy when they try to go old school. Thats why the 2015 was thet first stang ive loved since the 70s.

I think it's a great idea, Dodge is making it work with the charger and the challenger but I know, one is a two door the other is a four door...but I think Ford can make it work.

A muscle sedan in the form of a new Torino would be killer.

This concept will never get the go ahead. Torino is not being brought back. This is an old photoshop. Just caught on now. Lets be grateful Mustang is still around. Remember Ford "Probe". :tsk:
