You’re gonna need a re-match. I’m only making 618WHP on my large 93 pulley and I DESTROY the new C8s. You could’ve done a lot better lol 😂 at least he’s your son 😂 I would love to race my dad !!! Have fun!

Yeah. Gonna be a rematch. :)
but hopefully after better tires and some dyno time to rule out a power loss.

If you can’t put power down by 3rd gear you surely need better tires and/or a wing.

Yeah. I think something is going on with the car. I don't get any kr at wot. I run 91 octane with 4oz boostane professional per tank. Seems to run fine. New plugs, coils. Injectors were professionally cleaned. Great compression and leakdown test was great. I'm kinda at a loss. I dd drive the car 80mi. Round-trip on average 3 to 4 times a week. I'm here by kc. And get caught in the rain sometimes. So would like a tire that wears alittle more slowly and can handle rain and some cold. I didn't buy the g2s that are on there. The prev owner just put them on right before i bought the car.
How much boost is it making? Do you have a reliable gauge? I say reliable, because some of the offerings are shit and off by 2-3 psi or more.

One other thing I can think of is I always leave the car in normal mode never use sport mode and I leave traction control on, could that be reducing my timing maybe?
lol, yes. Bigly. Especially on shifts you are losing power.

Turn all the nannies off

I can't with these 373s. Would prob already be around 6krpms plus it will blow the tires off. I have 305 nitto g2 on the rear. But It would just kick the car out if I punched it in 3rd.
Nice runs. Those vettes are no joke.

3.73 and a 26"? tire gets you to a top speed of about 90mph. You should be able to start in 3rd if you aren't traction limited. I'm guessing you have a PD blower?

Just using digital boost gauge that you can add with forscan. So it's inferred. Should be around 10psi with the longtubes. It's a pd blower whipple gen 5 stage 2. 3Liter.

I do need to get a better boost gauge

I agree. With a blown mustang like yours, you would do better with 355s

I am sure it’s been said already but get those G2s off lol. Those things have to be comically bad with 710HP. Also 3rd gear all day.

Maybe I am misremembering my 2015 manual with 3.73s but I know my 2019 6 speed with 3.73s takes 3rd gear up to 116ish mph.

I'll have to try it. But traction is another thing. I never had 3rd gear hold without back peddling. I think these nitto g2s suck balls. 😆
What kind of tire does he have? Maybe that's what kind you need.
