I bought car a yr ago and it's supercharged. So I always run 5w50 or 5w40. I don't think 2 is overkill. I've heard of people running 2. It does help with the ticking for about 1k miles.

Hmmm. The ticking is really noticeable to me and is louder then it's ever been to the point wife just asked me what's all that ticking. I run 2 bottles of ceratec with rotella 5w40 it usually quites up for alittle while. Car is a gen 2 so no noisy injection either. 1300 miles on oil change...

On my whipple I run a 3.75 pulley. My boost gauge shows around 11.5 psi at around 7k rpms.

It is, atleast for me. I run the r8 in my mustang and a r4 in my pickup. Great long range detectors. I only run ka band and laser here in kc.

Just curious. Isn't tq and hp suppose to intersect at 5250 rpm. Is something off with the graph? Here's my whipple car for reference.

Yeah. Hot oil pressure hasn't dropped for the yr and 16k miles that I owned it. 30psi hot 70psi cruising at 2500rpms on highway. I'll keep sending it. 😀
