A bit ticked off

So, as the title says I'm a bit ticked off. .
I've been waiting a few days to post to let the steam die down but I'm still pretty furious. I'll explain : I ordered in a Ruby Red Ecoboost PP car in August. I had my current car appraised and was given a trade in value that was agreed upon, I would owe a little bit on it but it was alright by me. They agreed to MSRP on the car. So the order was put in, we shake hands and I get an order form.

Fast forward three long months of waiting later my car arrives, but they have no record of it being customer ordered, apparently it was ordered as a stock car, even though I was given the VIN.
They are adding a $7,000 ADM and offering me $2500 less on my trade in now. Safe to say I am beyond FURIOUS. This would have been my THIRD mustang purchase from them, and my father has been buying trucks from them for over 20 years. It blows my mind how much greed some of these dealers have. I told them keep the car and walked out.

Does anyone know a quality dealer in the southflorida area that isn't going to try to rob a potential repeat customer? Maybe even one a bit further north would be alright.

That is just not right. A greedy dealer who will sit on that car for a while. a PP even at MSRP is too much to ask let alone their stupied ADM.

When ordering a vehicle, always ALWAYS request for a purchase agreement with the pricing and trade value all in there and signed by both parties.


Somehow I bet you will see this was a blessing in disguise cause you will find a good dealer and will get a much much better deal

gave me a military discount and will honor the EAA discount when the car
arrives. I just showed them my MCA card, Retired Military ID card and my
EAA card. Great dealer and salesperson, Johnny Weintraub at Fairway Ford
in Evans.

Wait a second...did you have a written contract with them and did you put down a deposit? All the rest of us who ordered have this. Why wouldn't you get that?

Buy yourself a one way ticket up to the snow states. I just bought a GT Premium $1200 under X plan without giving them a PIN. I saw a thread here saying they couldn't find a Race Red Ecoboost Premium in all of California. There is one on the lot here, along with a Ingot V6, DIB GT Base for weeks/month+ now. 10 miles away Ecoboost CO premium on 20" wheels. I am sure they would all go hundreds under X plan. If I had to pay your premiums I would cash in two days of vacation get a cheap plane ticket north and drive it home. It would be worth the experience alone!

Being honest I settled for a black car myself because I couldn't find Ingot cars anywhere.

You just have to make a big deal I ordered from midway at first they didn't want to give me x plan then they ended up giving me it plus what ever other rebates that are offered at the moment which I got in writing

He isn't arguing about them not giving him x plan it's about he ordered the car and now they don't want to sell it to him and offered less on his trade.

I wish I would have known this. I had been trying to find a good dealer in Ft lauderdale area and ended up in Pines Ford. My experience thus far has not been the best, but hopefully by today I should have some news. I signed paperwork on Nov 14th and via COTUS still no update, says order not found.... I spoke to them and they mentioned my order was placed Nov 19th, since Ford "only accepts order on Wednesdays". Its December 1st and I still have no order info in COTUS. I am waiting for a call back from my sales rep.

I asked him for the DORA paperwork, if my car does not show ordered acknowledged on the 19th of November I am getting a chargeback on my down payment and coming over to Maroone.

Maroone Ford in Ft. Lauderdale. See Alan and tell him Jonathan the lawyer who ordered the black GT from him sent you over. He will take care of you- great honest guy.

Dunno about that. My order was entered on a Thursday - while I waited - and it showed up in COTUS within minutes. I really don't understand why some dealers drag their feet so much then string willing customers along with silly excuses. It definitely doesn't foster recommendations or repeat business.

I ordered mine on a Monday and had my VIN the next day and it showed on COTUS almost instantly.

I know, tell me about it. I am still waiting for a call back from my sales rep, I called and and left him some VM's but nothing back either. I am "ticked off" as well, hence me venting on this thread. Well, keeping fingers crossed, he has until EOD to show me some info, otherwise I am calling CC company and cancelling. THey asked for a 500 down and I gave them 1000, just because and they still play games.

I would say to use my dealer, but to be quite honest, they have not been helpful in any way!
