So I just placed an order for an ecoboost premium but I feel their lease numbers are about 25-35 dollars too high per month.

Car was 32,300
After x-plan it was 30,500
After 1000 lease rebate it was 29,500
2000 down= 27,500 (before taxes and 650 dollar acquisition fee)

NYS tax is 8.75%
Residual is 61%
Money factor is 2.75% or 0.00114

I am putting 2000 down on the car which pretty much covers the taxes.

They quoted me at 387 a month and said its non negotiable since you can't negotiate x-plan pricing. Am I missing something? Can someone help me?

How long is the lease? If it's for 36 months, the numbers are WAY off. If I plug your numbers into a lease calculator I get roughly $300/mo with tax included.

Plug your numbers in here and see what you get. 387 makes no sense.

As far as cost of the car, correct that is non negotiable. But you can negotiate on your interest rate. They can move numbers around. I leased a Jeep Patriot a few years back for about that same price, and it came out to be like 325 a month.

Tell them what you are comfortable in paying a month, and don't budge. They will work the numbers around. Dealers make a BUNCH of money off of leases, they want to lease to you.

Looks like they quoted you on the MSRP of 32,300.00 rather than adjusted price at 39 months and 15,000 miles (but I am just eye balling it, I could be wrong by a few bucks).

61% residual is likely 12,000 miles

I know but the monthly quote suggests 15000 @ 39 months, maybe they just left some old numbers plugged in. Ford loves to quote 39 months for some reason. I am on my second lease with them and they always push for 39 vs 36; I am sure they have a reason for it.

There are many terms to this lease missing.
Number of years
Miles per year
Down payment/drive off/cap cost

You don't need to pay tax on the value of the car on a lease
Just your monthly base payment is taxed and your capitalized cost reduction amount

Yeah I was going to point that out about the tax but I think New York does it a little differently in that you can pay the taxes upfront. I remember reading that somewhere anyway (code for I can't be trusted with that info)
