80 miles on the odometer when delivered to dealer

Wait... i noticed it was auto. So no line lock but perhaps neutral drop once or twice. Either way, should be just like new.

Autos have Line lock.... It's launch control they don't have... but that is built into the automatic tranny.

Mine was a tester and has few defects ....The downside is they ran it on Michigan roads in January and lots of stuff is covered with surface rust!

My dealer had to do their checks so my car had 84 miles on it when I picked it up.
They said my car was taken after production for additional quality control.
The car was perfect at delivery, no swirl marks and the paint was perfect.
The lines are awesome, couldn't be happier but has anyone heard of this?
3 months for delivery!

Mine had 44 miles when I picked it up but I had an invisible bra and tinted windows installed once the car arrived at the dealership so that added miles. Plus, since I'm registering my car in Colorado and bought it in Virginia, the dealership had to take the car to the local police department for a law enforcement VIN verification. And the guy probably took it out for pizza... ;)

Your car was intercepted at random and put through the nth degree of evaluation including a thorough drive evaluation. If anything was found it would be fixed and tested again. Your car got the velvet glove treatment!

Truth. They used to put a sticker on the window explaining it and the exact mileage accumulated during testing. Probably removed it during pdi or delivery detail.

Mine had 160 on it but they had to drive it up from Long Island which is about a 130 mile drive on it's own.

Wish i didn't buy it now, lot of problems with the engine.

It was driven from one dealer to another for a total of about 250 miles.

What kind of problems? Unless they were free revving the sucker nonstop I can't imagine major league issues this early.

My sales guy is a long time personal friend. They backed it off the truck and left it in place until i got there. no washing or anything. the inside still had all the plastic all over the seats.

Im going to do the same thing, when i place my order in sept 1st ill be leaving those exact kind of directions. Also i dont want them to fill it up. I want no one driving it anywhere but off the truck.

Id have refused it. Mine will probably come in, some time in December. If it was driven in salt covered roads i will not hesitate. This is going to be driven on dry roads only, especially ones without salt treatment. They will have to sell it and build me another. I hope to get one that wasnt driven

No idea what was done but after I bought it the guy who was cleaning the interior for me said it was sitting on their lot for a few months and mine by far was the fastest car. That's great to hear.

Having engine ticks, weird idle issues and starting to erode performance. I'm working with Ford to try and have them buy this back under a lemon.
