Absolutely!! I will take pics and possibly vids as the install moves forward. Truth is, if these headers were available a year ago, I would have bought the GT350R a year ago. Needless to say, I am mega pumped about these. Once the ESS is installed ..ufff the sounds of a Voodoo revving at rate of 800rwhp is going to be ear gasisms galore :)

Im thinking that titanium headers would last plenty if designed like this... These are straight, unbent pieces cut and welded to make their shape and curves. They are not heated and bent. Thats what makes titanium briddle and prone to failure on an exhaust system. TigCraft of Japan made me a full titanium system includIng headers for my Aprilia RSV1000 and it's awesome.

Ehhh I think the vibes from the Voodoo will ruin it if it was Ti , if it were to be designed in a fancy material it would have to be 3d printed from inconel and have it made in pieces with lots of slip joints , I’m no engineer .. far from it lol yet have owned a dozen sport bikes all with Ti full systems and I have had 3 headers crack over time due to fatigue and of course vibes. Big fan of Ti but only in certain applications

Fellas,

Who’s the undisputed King Dingaling of ceramic coating exhausts these days? Back in the day, I had a set of Bassani stepped headers for my Fox done up, but since they’re no longer around, I’m out here trying to find the new wizard with the magic spray gun.

Main goal is dropping under-hood temps and squeezing out any extra scavenging/velocity from keeping that heat in—because let’s be real, any free horsepower is like finding beer money in your old jeans when pulling them out the dryer. And the way these companies market the service, you’d think the coating adds +50hp and cures male-pattern baldness :), so why not at this point the Gt350 is worth it in my book.

Since this setup is fully bespoke, I figure I might as well go full bougie with it. If I’m already spending serious loot, I want that exhaust looking like it belongs in an art gallery before it gets roasted at 8,250 RPM. So who am I sending these monkeys off to???

swain tech, hands down….jethot is a close second but swain has better thermal capacity 😉

I think I've watched every 8-4-1 video I can find on these things. It's all Chevy/LS stuff for the most part, and even found a couple completely one-off custom builds they did but in the same concept. From what I've seen, their quality, craftsmanship, and fitment is absolutely top shelf, second to no one. Everyone that has a build and did the install was completely blow away by the system.

But I'll be extremely extremely curious as to what this does to the sound of the 350, because on all the LS videos I've watched, it completely transforms the sound of the car. It takes an LS and makes it sound much more exotic and flat plane like at full send. So, will be interesting.

I didn't find anything, but I guess O2 placement on these should be pretty standard of sorts? Wonder if we can expect any issues or necessary modifications there?

The video of this style setup completely transformed the sound of a cammed C6 Vette—night and day difference. I’ll be making several comparison videos between the OEM R system and the 8-4-1, with the camera and mic placed in the exact same spot, at the same distance and height. That way the sound comparisons are as accurate as possible. I’ll also break down which frequencies each setup emphasizes most and the decibel levels they hit.
