I also have Amica, been with them for years. Mine is going up $1,000.
GT350 is the reason why I had to drop Amica. They wanted almost $2000 a year with perfect credit and driving record. State Farm is doing it for less than $900. For the other cars we have the rates were almost identical (Amica vs State Farm).

I recently renewed a few months ago with Progressive but it went up from 620 to like 640 for a 6 month flat premium.
Im getting quoted $740/6mo for 100/300/100 at Progressive, which is basically the same price I'm paying now at Amica before this insane price increase. Only thing now is to make sure they use OEM parts for repairs if needed.

Amica has always been good to me. I had them before, and also for my first year of ownership for the GT350. Progressive use to be one of the more expensive options, and now it's the cheapest I can find that's still a relatively reputable company.

Just checked my State Farm bill. As of 5/26 mine has not gone up on my GT350R. Im 27, single, excellent credit, no accidents or tickets. I pay 791.62 every 6 months or 132$ a month. Going from the Track Pack to the R I went up 5$ every six months (0.83$ month)

The 2017 raptor jumped a lot though. 48$ a month more from my 2014

:D What you're not all 22 year old Tom-Cruise-lookalike bachelors with alcohol and reckless driving problems?

On a more helpful note, I'm seeing a trend with specific insurers, and I remembered my brother's rates went up sky high on renewal this go around (thanks for the pointer on renewal vs. modifying existing premium) for State Farm and his car load didn't change at all.

I tried calling Geico but they weren't helpful :/ I'll see what my premium change is in July. You've got me scared, now!

GEICO raised my collision and comprehensive on my 350, so I raised the deductible on collision but the comprehensive didn't drop much with the higher deductible got me back to close to old rate.

I had Liberty Mutual and rates had always been pretty fair but they quoted me $5k for adding the Shelby. I shopped it around and went with Ameriprise for $1400/year.
I just want to make sure I read that right,.........5K for one year of with the Shelby only?!?

Yeah, progressive wanted 1200 vs. 920 for six months... this was 2 weeks ago... needless to say im not with Progressive anymore, State farm was even less than the original 920....

FWIW, my brother has worked in auto body his whole life and owned his own shop and this is 100% backwards from his experience.
I've been checking first and foremost, OEM parts usage in repairs, then pricing.

From their website: https://www.statefarm.com/claims/resources/auto/replacement-parts-promises

State Farm™ keeps its "Good Neighbor" service promise every day, one claim at a time with Replacement Parts Promises. We're committed to your satisfaction regarding new non-original equipment manufacturer (non-OEM) and recycled parts used in the repair of your vehicle. Below please find additional information regarding the State Farm promise of satisfaction.

Then the fine print:

If you prefer parts other than those included on the estimate, you should notify your repairer. Should the use of those other parts increase the repair cost, you will be expected to pay the difference.
