Does anyone with forced induction tunes have issues with the way their auto tranny is shifting while in 'D'?

Just looking for some input/help.

My car is a GT Premium, 20" wheels with a MT Drag Radial, 3.55 gear (factory installed), 3600 Circle D, Hellion Twin Turbo Kit.

I had the same shifting issues with/without the Drag Radials and Converter.

Thanks
Rob

In Drive,
Before the trans shifts it's like the lock up kicks in (rpms drop 500 to 800)and then shifts so you think it changed gears twice.

Mine does this as well. In addition, it sometimes will not do the lock up and hard shift but instead it will over-rev and feel like its slipping very bad through the shift.

It will also act very different from Drive to Sport mode. The above problems are with the shifter in 'D'. When the shifter is in 'S' it does shift better and is more consistent however it feels like the car is pulling out alot of power to make the shift and the car feels alot slower...

Im curious to see what the auto guys that have whipples or prochargers say.

I hate to say this and nothing against you but I am glad to hear this.

I have been told ALOT has changed with the computer and how it controls the 6R80 and the tuners are still working to get it figured out all the way. I'm anxious to hear if anyone is happy with their boosted 15. I keep being told to use this tuner or that tuner and in the end when I talk to them they have not touched a boosted 15 auto and have NO CLUE about the shifting or issues (many people I have talked to assume its just like the 11-14 and is no big deal:lol:)

My HPP tuned 15 doesn't do this...

Lund won't tune any other twin kit.

I have an email in to Roush now.... I've been using the track apps to try and get a decent 0-60 time. It seems to pull nice in 1st gear, just not after. 2nd gear pulls pretty slow. I can't get my 0-60 any better than a 4.9 right now. I know I have stock all-seasons on there, but I feel is should be pulling harder with my foot to the floor in 2nd gear. I can almost feel the power being backed off to stop any wheelspin. Again, this is with advancetrac and traction control off....
