50th anniversary appearance package questions

I've been toying with the Ford "Build It" section of the website. It seems foolish that you can't get the Recaro's with the 50th appearance pkg. I like the wheels included with the 50th pkg....but really want the Recaro's. Perhaps I can just get a set of wheels later.

If you do that, you may want to look into if you can get LE wheels. They look similar but are wider and staggered so you can put wider tires on them.

Thats an interesting take. For all of us 2005+ owners, a coralled pony grill means V6 and inferior. We got the massive fogs and the pony. So much so that I wouldnt want the corralled grill if you paid me for it. Let the pony free I say :-) and we do in GTs

I have a 2011 V6 with the Pony Package. I like the look of it way more than the look of the 2011-14 GT -- I honestly think the aesthetics of it are perfect.

There are pictures on here. Black with the 50 years Pony embossed logo on the top of the seat below the head rests, white stitching.

Yes because this package can only be ordered in the Premium models. There is a lot of detailed information in the order guide and dealer sourcebook which can be found in the threads I've linked. Fun reading

50LE Power

I am one of the lucky ones that have a LE on order from every thing I have seen I think I will be very happy with the car . but slightly disappointed that ford did not add extra power to the LE over a standard GT like back in the Day with the old K code Mustangs. come on ford its not too late to give us 50th LE buyers a little extra Power . :ford:

No it's not. Just give every LE owner the a updated version of the Trac key for the 2014 GT. Problem solved.

The tune probably isn't in the computer for that though.

The tune wasn't in the 2014. You had to take it to the dealer and have them flash the computer.

I think my wife would kill me slapping onto that beast right away. My plan is at 60-75k ill add the SC. I seriously want this to be my first car to pass 100k.

Yes, presuming that Ford Racing has it available, that would be one way to get more power. However, that's aftermarket. I clarify my statement to include '...as a built in engine difference offered at the time of production now.'
