After thinking about this, i think the problem here is the definition of "fast." The definition must change from location to location. I guess if you live in a 55up retirement community and had a 600rwhp 4000lb car, you probably would have one of the fastest cars in town and can tell all your buddies you can put a $100 bill on the dash and they can keep it if they can reach it.
Come to dfw/houston racing scene and tell someone you have a 600rwhp you will get responses like ,"Yeah my dad's mustang is putting down 700rwhp, it's pretty quick for what it is." or "My mom drives a cts v wagon with bolt-on's as her daily driver" or, "Bob turbo civic just put down 460whp and he now has it down to 2700lbs" or, "Yeah my grandpa just bough that new bi-turbo v12 mercedes"
So let me restate, a 15 mustang with 600rwhp is not brutal, easily manageable, and very tame car. To me, and many people I associate with, it's VERY boring to drive at that power level.
