500 at the crank is about 425 RWHP, you can get there with an intake, tune and headers on pump gas.

I'm making 405 w/ dyno tune and catback.

im at 460 rwhp with intake, off road headers, and e85 tune. Im content with that,. The 500 number does seem tempting, but not for 2k+ to cam it out.

I'll be doing my build around the end of the year. Planning on cams, headers, intake, TB, fuel system, light weight fly and clutch, CF shaft, and a few other little goodies.

Unfortunately, I live in the runner up to the U.S. Oil Capitol, and we have no ethanol... I'll be running 93

Cj intake and race gas dyno tune will be 500hp. 13s would be making 480s with cj race gas intake tune and headers . We have better heads and cams.

what is the cj intake you mentioned? is there a new aftermarket intake manifold already out?

I have seen the boss manifold test but not a cj test, doesn't the cj manifold make up for the loss of midrange range torque? Why is no one running this? Cost? Motor mounts? Fitment?

I believe the CJ and boss manifold don't fit with our hoods closed, but I could be wrong.

I think if we get a manifold good enough, we could get 500 on stock cams.
