Bullitt owners,

I need your help! I’m looking to buy a Mach 1, which is optioned pretty similarly to the Bullitt. Both have their base model, but then both have an upgrade available for “voice activated touchscreen navigation system with pinch-to-zoom, Sirius XM traffic and travel link”, but it’s part of the electronics package in the Bullitt and a stand-alone option in the Mach 1.

I used to think that meant the base Bullitt without the electronics package didn’t have navigation, but I was told that is incorrect. So can someone please help me out and explain what the difference is between the non-electronics package nav system and the upgraded nav system?

Without that package, there should be no nav (there aren't different nav versions). What happened is ALL Bullitts came with that package, so it was like a mandatory one. Haven't read of a single Bullitt without it, but this is for the US market. Other markets might be different in that regard, since options and standard equipment vary greatly among markets. The only real options in the US market were MagneRide, Recaros, and car cover. Hope this helps.

Ahh, that’s what I thought (and feared)... looks like I’ll be spending that extra $600

All Bullitts were premium plus, hence navigation. The package you are thinking of, maybe? Is the electronics package? which added other goodies but only added the 5 yr subscription to SiriusXM to the navigation. At least that is what it looks like to me.

That second picture is what I was referring to. It claims to add “voice-activated touchscreen navigation system”, which makes me wonder if the base model also has nav, or if it’s a different kind of nav system, or if the SiriusXM traffic is ALL that’s included in the package

you can see, the same thing is available on the Mach 1, but it’s available as a standalone option which makes me wonder if it’s more than JUST the siriusXM traffic

Whoa! Where you get that options sheet?? Can you share it all? But as far as the Bullitt. Yes the only thing the electronic package added to navigation was the subscription. The pricing on that for $595 on the mach 1 makes me suspicious that could be similar. So standard would come with the same system and that $595 option would just add the subscription as well.

total guess tho, so take with a grain of salt.

Be careful about the options on these vehicles. Ford, for example, originally claimed a feature on the bullitt that did not show up on the 2019. Just add it all, and replace it with ford oem basic items if you are trying to save weight.

@jake_zx2 yeah you can see on that order sheet pg 20 I think it says mach 1 comes with all 301a package. So that does in fact include navigation. That $595 option on the mach 1 would just add the subscription.

It’s all in the Mach 1 subforum. I also have another thread in there with the prices for most of the options on the build sheet.

I also suspect that it’s just the subscription charge, which makes me hopeful as it would be nice to save an extra $600 by skipping out on that option. But I guess the best bet will be to wait for people who get cars without that nav package. Luckily, I plan on getting a late-2021 model, so I’ll probably have time to revise my order if that ends up being the case

This is interesting though... 301A also offers the same package for a higher price... which makes me think maybe 301A DOESN’T come standard with nav. Hmm...

Nah. You’re overthinking it. Haha. I get it, being excited and wanting to make sure you order it perfectly. But don’t sweat it. All mach1 will come with navigation as standard without having to add any options at all.

It'd be at least the XM-Travel subscription, PLUS voice activation. But my guess is a Mach1 without that package won't have navigation at all. We'll find out who's right soon enough  .

The '19 and '20 Bullitt electronics package is what added navigation. It was not standard, at least in North America-US specs. I have a no-option 2019. The base Sync 3 stereo does not include navigation.
