The only difference between the 2020 and 2019 Bullitt is the 2020 model has an updated easier to use Sync.
and the Shark Fin on the roof! ..Makes it easy to tell the years just by that alone!

Well, that's not a real difference, since most of us already updated to Sync 3.4 for free from the Ford owner website :).

The real differences as far as I know are 2020s come with FordConnect (which includes a modem for HotSpot Wi-Fi), a different BCM (Body Control Module, with different FORScan codes), a 'shark-fin' (rather than the 'pancake') roof antenna, and a $1K gas guzzler tax.

You can’t swap rear end gears as easy on the 20.

Modem / shark fin as mentioned.

Twin horn.

Colours - depending what your after (I know what forum this is in ... lol)

You have to hope for small incremental improvements that you wouldn’t necessarily hear about or see published - engine noises and manual gearbox improvements etc - maybe wishful thinking ... lol

Why? We're talking Bullitts here, with the 3.73 Torsen, with an iron housing. Did anything change? And if yes, what exactly?

My 2019 already has that, so not a 2020 change :). But just remembered a related change: YELLOW COOLANT. Plus the twin horns indeed, but since I replaced mine since day 1, forgot about that.

This is a Bullitt forum, in case you haven't noticed. Ha ha. And yes, we know many other 2019 Mustangs came with the modem, but not the Bullitts.

Nothing mechanical changed, but they changed some of the electrical trickery and if you swap the ratio without a tune, it will spit it’s dummy out and throw all kinds of electrical errors ... :frown:

Ford Performance told me about it and I posted it on the forum, at first it was brushed off as poor info - but then a few of the 2020 guys started running into issues ... :frown:

It needs a tune to fix it AND a tuner that knows he needs to fix it (it caught a few tuners out too) :like:

Is that related to the BCM module change? Or is there an additional module (or ECU) change we didn't know about? Now I'm curious. Ha ha.

If someone has a 2020 Bullitt with a shark fin antenna I'd like to see a picture.
I know you've already got a picture of it but just wanted to chip in with this 2020 Bullitt I saw in the showroom when I picked up my Mustang

The picture is a 2019 Bullitt. You can tell by the antenna on the roof. The 2020 Bullitt has pancake style. This picture shows a shark type. The dealer maybe fooling you.

You have it backwards. Job 2, 2020s have the shark fin. Also they lose the back pocket in the passenger seat.
