Currently swapped my 5.0 in my 2021 mustang gt to 5.2l predator block and i wanted some insight on the best oil pan kit to go with that is compatible. Is the gt500 aluminum pan kit with oil pump gears sufficient? I was thinking of rolling with the moroso oil pan but i wasn't sure if the windage tray would fit with the current setup on the 5.2 block. Any insight?

If you aren't tracking that car, I'm sure either would be fine, along with stock.

That said, I have the 500 pan on mine, and I'd recommend it.

Ive installed the GT500 pan on two so far. It’s a good upgrade with oem quality, validation, and engineering.
what compression and crankshaft did you decide to go with? i was thinking 11:0:1 strictly e85 car with twins

My friend’s engine we just finished uses a stock crank and 10.4/1 compression. Breaking in and tuning now. I made an initial 4% tweak to the torque tables and he reports that the part throttle torque and pedal response feels the same as it did at 12/1.

If tracking the car isn't it less costly to go with an 2qt oil accumulator over the GT500 kit? Assuming you got the space.

I’m doing both on this new engine as the pan helps when the engine is running but since my car sits for weeks on end, avoiding dry starts with larger cams and springs should be beneficial to the heads.
