Trying to figure out what else I’m missing for this swap, I have most the items from VMP but I still need to figure out injectors, throttle body and cooling. In the article for the swap it said gt500 injectors paired with VMPs Gt500 fuel rail, can gt500 95lb. injectors fit in gen 2 coyotes? For the throttle body, it’s analog for Gen 2 coyotes so the few people that I’m seeing did this build stuck with there stock throttle body and just got an adapter plate from VMP but some people are also saying they get a CEL because it’s too small and receive a torque error, so is there any way around this is? Or is it strictly tune related? . And lastly I found a heat exchanger but there’s definitely more to cooling than just a heat exchanger, I know not many people have done this conversion but if anyone has any tips or tricks that would be amazingly helpful

Re the injectors, the gt500 has “long” 55 lb injectors. I’m not sure that it matters what fits a gen2 since the whole ma unfold is different with the gt500 blower.

Re the throttle body, it can be tuned to work. You just need the correct tb data in the model in the tune. The tune is going to take a lot of work anyway.

Thank you Mike! I was definitely confused as I’m learning as I’m going, so I’m asking a lot of questions so I can do it one time. My second option for injectors was going to be the ford performance 56lb. Injectors I believe it was and get injector height adapters to fit but I wanted to check if stock 2020 GT500 injectors worked because that would be the cheaper and less hassle option. Yeah I heard it’s definitely gonna take a lot of back and forth with the tune but I look forward to it cause one everything is all built and put together it’ll definitely be even more worth the wait. Thanks again Mike! Big help!!

Ford performance sells two injectors in that range. The 55’s ARE the stock predator injectors and they are the long ones. The 52’s are mid-length, I believe stock from the trinity gt500, and flow nearly identically to the 55’s. The 55’s are cheaper and you can steal the injector data from the gt500 stock tune.
