I want to really thank you for your advice. I received my 4C yesterday. Hopefully this week, I can have it installed so I can have it retuned this up comming weekend. I trapped 114.9 with a 12.40 last week. I did that with a 2.0 60ft, so a 1.6 should put me in the 11s. Which was my goal for my car N/A. Not bad for a car with a tune, x pipe, intake, and high flow cats still using the stock manifolds and mufflers.
How long was your turnaround? And did you order direct? I ordered 5/27.
But it was thru a site sponsor. Just wondering... Seems you got yours really
quick.

I got mine from a friend, of a friend. He never had a opportunity to install it, but got rid of the car. I'm not sure how long it took for him to get it, but I appreciate him blessing me with it. He was in the same city as me. It's new and still under warrenty.

Got tracking number today. My unit will be shipped today. And you really did catch a blessing. I hope you are enjoying that 4c.

Wow.................after a tune. I'll say it's mandatory to tune a car with the converter. We also had to disable something with the trans thru the tune, and do a crank relearn. Ist gear and under 5k, its allowed to slip. Its locked up after that for my preference. It literally feels like a stock car at light throttle imput. At 100 percent throttle it boogies and flashes up as soon as you stab the peadal. I was scard, but Brad helped me so much with this car. Now it feels like I still have my topend, but now the car leaves. . Anything on street tire spins, so with the traction controll on the street it manageable. I'm going to the track this week to test it and will probably be running N/T as my car looks stock but I don't have all the required safety equipment. Now i'm also getting some wheel hop, so I need some suspension mods aswell. Overall I'm really impressed. Just need to find out how to launch the car, to nail my time.

Like I said earlier, you may need suspension work and a sticky tire. The converter definitely makes the car a whole different animal. lol

I have to do suspension. I do have a pair of the NT05R 305/35r19. I just decided to use them.

I have the NT05R drag radials and they have a hard time hooking on the street. So a normal NT05R isn't going to do as well.

Getting in late here but I've had a 3C and then re-stalled to 5C. Daily driving was the same but I could launch harder at the drag strip, best 60' was 1.501 at 3750 lbs just some racestars and stock calipers up front.

Stock with headers, PMAS air intake, Lund E85 flex-fuel tune and 4C. BMR diff and cradle braces.

The problem is hooking on the street when launching hard. lmao Although it is not horrible.

At the track, it dead hooks.
