4.09 gears for the Mach1...think its doable without software?

I know it used to be able to tuned with Forscan, not sure on the late 2020 and 2021s.

I did read somewhere on here that someone with a Bullitt tried 409 gears and it really messed with the electrical system. Car was throwing codes, messed up a lot of things. I'll see if I can find the thread.

I believe 19my up will require a tune for 4.09s.
There are several threads about the problems that arrive if you change without a tune.

'19 and up need a tune modification, depending on the max gear setting in the tune (not accessible via FORSCAN).

Just talked to Ford Performance, figured that by now they'd have an answer on this... they said they aren't supporting 4.09's in the Mach 1 because it's a "niche" vehicle. They said you'll need an aftermarket tune and mentioned SCT or HP Tuners. Told them I have an SCT BDX and could they just email me a file just for the 4.09's, but they said no.
