***UPDATE***

Received new tune.
Rides the same under 3000 RPM (just like the first tune from bama). Slower and poorer response than bone stock. I'm done with this. Don't mind it. Whatever. Will take it to a shop in Anaheim.

Regarding the Ford tune overriding, hopefully Beauxxl1200 can get an answer.

Since you already have the sct x4, hit up Beefcake for a Lund tune.

Charles,

When you have your car in Sport mode, and you toggle back to normal mode it will revert back to our Bama Performance tune in normal mode. You do not have to reload the tune in anyway. I hope this helps. Thanks, and have a nice day!

Regarding the sluggish, slow acceleration on my car, post-mods, I called Bama directly and spoke with Justin. He advised me that the difference in tune should be night/day and that he'll work on the tune the moment we ended the conversation. Should be ready before end of day.

Really awesome guy.
Ya, I too am not buying it...

I don't think you understood.

Try re-reading the copy/pasted email I received. ;)
No I fully understand I was just being sarcastic. but I do find is Strang Bama says switching to sport mode the car will drive on fords tune and switching back to normal mode switches to their tune. Sounds like misinformation to me

So... Bama's support response to your inquiry doesn't make any sense. Especially considering all of the work with Paul@Bama, datalogging and dyno testing was done in "Track" mode. There was some serious voodoo happening if it was to be in "Normal" the whole time.

There is no way the sport mode is a stock ford tune on my Bama tuned car, both modes are different than stock was. Bama has great customer service, I'd give them a little time to sort this out.

I agree, Mike. Hopefully, Alex will clear this up. If I were looking to buy a tune, I would not buy one that did not operate across all the modes. If my Bama tune is only working in Normal mode, I will seriously consider replacing it with another company's tune.

I don't have a Bama tune. I can say that my tune when I switch to sport mode seems like it has more torque and quicker than when it is in normal mode. I was also told it should work in all modes... I've noticed this ever since I loaded my tune...

The tune should work in all modes. How I understand it, the easiest way to explain. The drive modes are filters with holes. track mode has the biggest holes and snow wet has the smallest. The filter goes over the tune, it's not 4 separate tunes.
That probably makes no sense but I tried haha

That is probably due to the more aggressive throttle mapping in Sport+.

That's cool with me... Just weird I figured the tune would feel the same in any of the normal, sport and track modes...

It sounds to me that the tune didn't load properly. When I first installed my JLT I drove it around the block before I tuned it, and it ran like you are describing.
