Could you restate the question?

With the torsen, If the tires are off the ground, if you spin one, the other will spin the opposite direction, yes.

if you’re driving and one tire is completely off the ground, you can’t put power down through the other (the tire off the ground will spin).

Torsens are awesome, but those are two quirks.

On that note do you suggest I get a 3.73 torsen or just 3.73 gears in the base diff if that is possible (sorry to hijack).
Best to start a new thread or post in CAMC thread.

Thats a complicated question and I’d have to direct you to youtube to look at how Torsen diffs work. Short answer is its normal if both wheels are off the ground. no worries.

Hey I have a 3.55 torsen diff that I’m wanting to install, did you have to use forscan or custom tuning after the gear change or will the car just accept the new diff without having to do anything?

There seems to be some conflicting info about this. When I did my car it learned everything by itself. Others have said they needed to change the programming.

So, flip a coin.

Yeah I’ve seen the same on this forum, either it’ll just work or will require some type of tuning to set the new shift points. Guess I’ll find out soon enough. What year is your stang? If you don’t mind me asking.

Just curious, my '22 base GT has the non-torsen limited-slip w/ 3.55's.... What's normal behavior for this one?... And why would I want a Torsen? Real question, no idea.

From what I’ve heard you want a Torsen for track use and non Torsen for straight line drag racing.
