Hey guys I have a 2018 gt manual, what would be the pros and cons of going from 355 to 373? My older o6 mustang I went from 331 to 373 and really noticed a difference.

You'll notice - similar to your 331 shift - faster revs up/quicker times between shifts in low gears.

if your boosted you get longer gears (3.31) if your NA get shorter gears (3.73 and 4.10). the shorter the gear the quicker your RPMs climb. get a whole pumpkin if possible, easier install

In the 18 up with the mt82d4 your be better off going to 4.09s the gearing is so tall the 4.09s just bring it inline with the 17 with 3.73
Have many done this swap? would 1st be useless? would it make my car quicker?

I'm putting in 4.09 the gearing is almost identical to the t56 i had behind an LT1. And with 4.10s it was perfect. There are several charts available in several threads on here. The wheel speed is almost identical between a 17 model with 3.73 and 18 up with 4.09s.

Ok getting a little confused would I be better off with 373s or 410s?
