10 - 11 the tire fits and will drive just fine, and fill the wheel well nicely.

Awesome. As for the front, you think it's fine staying at 255 or should I also look at upping it?

If you don’t want your car to understeer like crazy, you need to also go to a bigger tires in front
Easy and cheap way to do it is to use your rear wheel and pp1 tires in front with a 5mm spacers
So only buy 2 new wheels and 305 tires for the back and you will run the rear 275 in front

I'm fine with either 19x10 or 19x11. Only problem is that I can't find any 19x11 gloss black reps on sale, which is why I'm likely going to go with the 19x10s.
Sorry but price is a very poor reason for buying an undersized wheel. You have a 450 HP rear wheel drive monster. Find a wheel that will optimize the tire size you want. Either that or drop a tire size or two. I know looks are important but so is handling. A 305 tire is huge and needs an 11” wheel.

Correction 305 & 10.5 rim will run fine, Ford being the expert in the conversation.

OP what size is the front wheel (width)?

Understood. 10 1/2 will be fine. But 10" is undersized and if he is going to go beyond that he might as well find an 11' in his style and price range.

OP what size is the front wheel (width)?
He has the standard PP1 wheels.

Pictures are worth a thousand words. I know these are not PP 19" wheels, but they are of a similar design on 20". The Front wheels are 20x9 32mm offset with 275/35-20 and the back are 20x10.5 45mm offset with 315/35-20s. I would expect about the same bulge from 305s on 10 inch rims. Only difference I feel driving is the wider tires from the stock setup of 265/35-20 and 9" rims front and rear is the back seems to want to follow the depressions from big trucks on highways if I am not paying attention similar to what my wife's jeep wrangler does with 305s on 10" rims. Personally, I like a little bulge, saved me from scuffing rims the other day when my wife was driving and pulled thru an ATM drive and hit the curb with the front tire. The bulge kept her from hitting the rim as the tire woke her up and she got off the curve quick.

If nothing else this will give you a feel for the amount of bulge you will see.

Gotcha. So the 10 inch wheel would still be considered undersized for the 305 Super Sports even though it's within the range?

That fit and bulge is perfect. Are those with lowering springs or spacers?

From a handling viewpoint yes. What we should all be looking for is “optimum“, not a compromise. If not why are we even bothering to own a high performance car?

In your case you have a chance to get what’s best. Don’t let a few dollars change that.

Technically it does fit the 10”. From a performance standpoint 11” and a 305 tire is optimal. For a 10” wheel, 275 or 285 would be optimal from a performance standpoint. If you’re just going for looks and aren’t as concerned with optimal performance, the 305 will be ok. Too much bulge for my liking but it’s all personal preference (so long as safety isn’t compromised which isn’t the case here).

100% correct. If OP had a nice set of 10’s laying around, sure, go for it. But he’s buying new wheels. Why compromise for a few bucks? Our cars are already so expensive and many of us spend a fortune on mods. Why cheap out on something like wheels?

I agree. In my opinion there’s nothing more important as far as mods go than proper wheels and tires since that’s what is keeping your car connected to the road, especially if you’re looking to push your car a bit. I’d rather spend good money on wheels and tires and get a setup that is optimal.

OP, check out SVE and Project 6GR. They offer a good variety of sizes and styles that mirror various OEM looks for a pretty good price (Including 11” wheels that will go perfectly with the 305 size tires that you want). There were a couple PP1 reps that were made in 19x11 but I believe they’ve been discontinued.

When I ordered the wheels, I had ordered 305/35-20s for the rear 10.5 rims and 265/35-20 tires for the front 9 inch rims. Got a call later that day and was told the tires were on a 60 day back order. This car started as my toy and since Diesel is so high for my dually, I use this as my daily driver now. I like the look of old school muscle cars and am old enough to know I am no race car driver and don't need the extreme performance that many want. I ordered these tires and wheels for my winter tires and ordered all season radials. Any way, sorry to ramble, I got the guy to see what was available and found the Nitto Motivo in the size listed above (275/35-20 and 315/35-20) available and that was what I had him order. In the spring I am going to check into a set of Variant Krypton 20x10 for the front and 20x11 for the rear and put summer tires on them in a 285/30-20 and 305/30-20..

Understood, but I just want to clarify the reason I'm considering the 10 inch is because I can't find any reps available for purchase in gloss black.

Yeah, I saw the PP1 reps in gloss black that were discontinued :(. They only have them in gunmetal now. And yeah, I've been checking out SVE & 6GR.

Wow, that's perfect then. I also don't mind the ramble, more info for me!
