What are your requirements with the fuel system for a boosted setup? I understand it differs with goals & setups. Let's ask with what I would need for a Stage 1 Whipple (assuming will pulley down with more E85). I'm tracking PCMTec & the PnP Kit listed earlier are the two required parts I would...
I completely agree, it's just wishful thinking. Do you think development with the Gen 4 Coyote/ECU would be able to trickle down to the Gen 3? Or are the engines/ECU too different?
Is there a vendor/tuner with a kit solution out there to run 91-E85 with a boosted setup yet? Or is still all DIY/Self-Tuning/Research/Testing? I would love to run flex fuel on my Whipple similar to my B58 engine.
I have not been that active and the last time I was reading on the developments...
Thank you! Not going to lie it was pretty expensive on the Mustang at $2499 for the pair, I'm assuming because it was one-off & custom-made. It was the first design they've made like that. I think that because my pair for the Supra is half of the cost. The other custom pair I'm getting are their...
Not directly from Alibaba and just sharing my experience. I got custom performance pack wheels made by VFC Performance last year, who I believe sources their materials and manufacturing process in China (if anyone knows more about them, please correct me if I am wrong). The process was smooth...
2022 GT PP1 with a Stage 1 Whipple installed at 12k miles. Now just hit 30k miles after using it as a daily for a while. I've ran it with a little bit of Boostane for more safety every time I fill up and the only issue I've had was an idler pulley going bad as it was rattling (Whipple part), got...
Yeah the S58 is no joke. With an unlocked DME you can get 200+ HP from a downpipe, tune, and E50. I know one locally running the same setup on a G80 M3 and is a luxury rocket.
I would probably go with the Nitto 555R2's. I used to daily them with my bead locks. As robvas said, as long as you have tread you won't die. Depending on PSI and how warm they are too, you still might have to feather the throttle. In the end, they're dedicated to go fast in a straight line as...
My idler pulley also went bad last week at 10k miles, the car is a daily. I was 6 months out of warranty but Whipple still sent out a replacement for free!
On another note, would it be normal for an idler pulley to go out that early?
Which wheels do you have? I had a thread earlier this month about 20mm spacers in the rears which you posted in. It did not fit my PP1 wheels in the rear as it left a 5mm gap 😭. I'm pretty sure 25mm is the smallest bolt-on spacer you can use on the OEM 9.5 inch PP1 wheel.
Has anyone ever had issues with running bolt-on spacers? As far as I know, slip-ons would be safer. I'm also FI so not sure if the added weight would stress out the front studs more.
Thank you all for the replies. Did any of you guys have Magneride on the car? I know the front studs are different so some bolt on spacers won't work. Has anyone had experience with slip on spacers?
Hey y'all,
I wanted to know what studs & slip on spacer combo I should use to have flush fitment with the stock PP1 wheels. Is it possible? It is a Magneride equipped car.
