3.73's in a boosted car. I hear people telling me to change them. May I ask why

I don't care about praticality3:73 here, 700+whp, lots of fun, not real practical
I haven't had mine to the strip yet but I agree 3.73's are a blast on the street. Having to shift into 5th isn't going to help my times but if I were chasing #'s I would of bought a auto. I just like having fun! Do it OP you wont be sorry!I have 3.73's and like them just fine. But, I don't go to the 1/4 mile drag strip. Nothing wrong with it, just not my thing. I'm a twists and turns kind of guy and maybe a little roll racing stuff so for that, the 3.73's are perfect for me.
I have full traction in 3rd gear with a e-force 2300 and indy 500's, I know it's not a crazy amount of power but it's still FI with 3.73's. OP, what are your power goals? The higher you go the more making a gear change makes sense. Some guys just upgrade the opg, sprockets, guides, chains and etc. and let her RIP all the way past 8,000+ rpm which let's you stay in 4th at the strip!Because you will roast 1-3
That’s pretty sad.I have full traction in 3rd gear with a e-force 2300 and indy 500's
Spinning isn't winning!That’s pretty sad.
