So you think switching from a 305/45/17 to a 315/50/17 would keep me in 6th? only gonna keep me in 6th n extra 8mph, dont think that will be enough. Hadnt really thought about doing that, great idea. Rear end would be cheaper though. ;-)
With 3.55's on an A10 it's good for 144MPH. The traction of the 315/50's is awesome. That was my number one reason for the switch.

With 3.55's on an A10 it's good for 144MPH. The traction of the 315/50's is awesome. That was my number one reason for the switch.
I trapped at 139mph before doing fuel system going e85 and changing pulleys. So Im pretty sure I will be 150+. I would hope

My shop is suggesting I drop to iron 3.31 from 3.55/A10/Vortech/305’s. Gonna do axles at the same time. Thoughts?

If you are trapping 150+ you need will need 3.15 gears to stay out of 7th (and possibly the 315/50's too). Switching to the 315/50's is the equivalent of 3.31 gears on 3.55 geared car.
