My dealer is admittedly new to owning a Ford dealership but is part of a huge multi manufacturer dealership group.
My GM feels like they’re going to build 2023 GT500s.
Or even build remaining 2022 orders into 2023. Could they still be considered 2022 MYs built in 2023 calendar year?
Just starting this thread before I ask some of my contacts but I’m sure there are dealerships ‘selling’ 2023 GT500 orders and wanted to discuss.
What say you guys, will we see a 2023 GT500?

2023 will be just Ecoboost and GT, same colors as this year.

I like to disassemble things.
They'll come up with a ritzy titsie edition. It will not be a Predator only powered beast.

But if the Raptor R has the Predator engine (detuned)/ transmission combo, the lines are still cranking out the hard-to-make parts…. So 2023 MY would be easy to continue. I’m in for a definite “Maybe.”

If there is no 2023, then our existing cars will jump even more in value.

The fact that they put out a heritage edition for 22 kinda screams of "end of the road".

I think its unlikely that there will be a 23 500. These cars are not the bread and butter of Ford motor company. Usually these vehicles don't bring in much revenue based upon the low volume and high development costs.

Most automobile companies have a performance division to promote the brand.

This crazy material shortage has caused all kinds of manufacturing problems. If I was Ford, I would not be worried about a 23 500, but instead focus on the vehicles that are profitable to produce.

I'm with most, there will be no 23 500.

This exactly what ive ben thinking. If this is the last year of the predator engine and the last SC v8 GT500 I think GTFORMULA is correct about values jumping up the same way GT350 values did when the GT500 was announced to be auto only.
