The email says nothing. The fact it was sent to anyone one who ordered anything prior to Feb 22 supports that. Its like a sorry for past delays.

Summarizing several posts and sprinkling (well, dousing) with my own speculation...

Information posted before advised "late availability" items were available, now.

traxiii posted upcoming production schedule information.

The people that received the e-mail were ones who placed orders 1/31/22 or earlier.

Flat Rock is coming out of a scheduled production pause.

I'm starting to see the e-mail as, "Thanks for holding. We appreciate you waiting. Your car will be scheduled for production soon."

I reviewed some previous schedules. Depending on the month there was production every week, some weeks, or no production at all.

As traxiii posted (Thank You for the schedule, BTW), It would appear the most recent information (schedule, and now customer e-mails) is lining up production for the month of May, with Ford possibly notifying affected customers the end of this month.

Ford produced roughly 1,000 Mustangs a week in 2021, more still in 2020. Best Wishes to all with an order.

FWIW I was noticing on other forums it seems other Ford product orders are getting this email. The F series customers are all getting it too.

YES. Anyone who ordered a Ford prior to Feb 2022 got the email. Even Bronco guys who have the car already.

You might have just sneaked into this thing if it happens next week. I would love to know what the backlog of both special orders and dealer stock orders in hand.

FYI: From my reading on that other site, dealer stock order build dates, their allocation numbers come into play, but with customer orders it does not. That is to say, two orders with the same priority, the customer order takes precedence, no matter if the dealer that placed the order has no more allocation left for that time period.

I hope I was reading that correctly. Which could mean that dealers that have no customer orders, might get build dates after all the customer orders before a certain time, say, 1/31/2022 maybe? Good luck to all of us!

OR, like a few people have opined, the Ford email could be a "get comfortable in your easy chair, because the ride just got a little longer" kind of thing. We should know for sure next Friday, after the first three weeks in May have been scheduled. Dealers should be able to see if we made it on the docket, sometime by Friday afternoon on their WBDO screens.
