Hey guys, quick question.

My 2022 Mustang GT battery is on its way out, and I’m looking to replace it. I don’t drive much — usually under an hour a day.

Has anyone upgraded to an AGM battery? Any good options you’d recommend?

Also curious if anyone has fitted an H6 size battery — does it fit straight in, or do we need to modify the battery tray?

Cheers!

Just replaced mine (6 ish months ago) with a Costco Interstate battery. $119.99 with a 3 year warranty.
The H6 will fit the hole but the cover may not fit or be very tight.
Some places won't replace with anything except the stock size. You may get pushback even trying to buy one that's not stock size.
That's my experience anyway.

The only options I had at the auto parts store was an AGM battery. I bought the 2nd cheapest one they had. This was about 3 years ago.

AGM batteries are typically much better than traditional batteries. People that are into car audio or marine life can attest.
