2022 GT500 order thread

Same, I shared these "rumors" with my dealer and they called their Ford rep, and the claim is the Ford Rep hasn't heard anything. They offered to remove the handling package for me if I wanted to do so, but then we'd need to move back to Priority 10 and then re-request a move to Priority 01. Which they said would happen same day, but given each one of the parts that makes up the Handling Package appears to be in stock across Ford Parts/Performance. I don't know if the constraint is true for the masses or was a one off for a specific build week.

In any case, if I'm still in UMH at the end of July, (assuming they've been scheduling) I may have the package pulled and I will share results. But given 90% of the package sits in boxes in the trunk, I hope that's not truly what's holding us up.

I guess that’s just enough that they’re not calling it a “constraint” but given that I don’t care about the adjustable shocks and all of the other parts I can order right now. I guess I should ask them to pull the package on Monday.

Double sadness that there’s no Mustang scheduling this week.

Yup. I’ve seen this. GT500 graphic is always in one of 2 places on HE cars. Painted stripes (will be on hood) because no side stripes. Vinyl stripe car gets graphic on side only. Makes it easy to tell difference between painted/vinyl HE’s from a distance.

Mon-Friday 8 hour shifts is what was last reported. Even plants that normally do work weekends, haven't been able to due to supplies.

It's a base HE with painted stripes, has Tech and Handling, but no Recaro's.

Was for Sale at Covert Ford in Austin Texas for a 30K ADM, unsure what buyer ended up paying.

It's my local dealer so my sales guy tried really hard to sell me on it, but I've "Hopefully" got my own order and if not, other local dealers have CFTPs for 20K ADM, so I told him 30K was out of the question, I just don't have that affinity for HE without CFTP.

It's in Texas @ Covert. Base car without recaros and painted stripes. I saw it posted on Twitter but the the poster was vague about it. Didn't reply to my question about dealership.

Yeah. That was Covert, salesmen was Joseph. Originally was a $50k markup, then dropped to 35k. This past Sat., I saw it posted for $118k.

well spoke with my dealer he called the regional rep he said even know it’s not showing in the system it’s scheduled for August. Does that sound legit?

Sounds as legit as anything a ford rep would say. Who knows, hopefully if they are being honest.
