Neither me or dealer had a cancelled '21 and I'm told I'm selected and it will go to priority one and get VIN in a week or two.

Do you have a preview order in or just waiting for dealer to get allocation.
I have a preview order sheet and FP verified mine order is in but has said it’s not scheduled.

Good. I'm also at a small town dealer, although they said they typically get 2 a year, and mine was selected. So, my guess is you are in good shape and just waiting until one get assigned. I'll be surprised if you are all the way out to fall, unless you just happen to be in a region with a very large number of dealers with GT500 orders pending (nobody seems to know exactly how these regional allocations work).

I wonder if they are 21 rollovers that had been canceled?
My dealer keeps fighting me on changing the priority code from 19 to 10. Said people don’t know what they are talking about and that 19 or 10 won’t matter since I’m their only GT500 for this year. Not sure what to do lol.

the dealers that got their 21s canceled as far as I know definitely have priority. but I have no idea how many cars or dealers that number is.

for your situation, I would simply ask your dealer, if it makes no difference and it can only help simply put 10. so that you would really appreciate it.

No, but would love to get a link to a chat if it exists rather than have to call for an update.
Ford Performance doesn’t know anything your dealer doesn’t know. They will read you the same screen the dealer sees. FP are nice people, but they have nothing to do with allocations or build dates, etc.
Bug your dealer. He’s the one getting paid to work it for you.

The priority code only really means something when the Regional Manager changes it to a “1”. Then things start to happen. But your dealer could make you feel good to change it to a 10 (anything above a 10 is normally consider a stock order, not a special order).
You are probably talking to a salesman. They can’t change it. Dealers have someone assigned as their inventory manager. Normally the GM or their right hand person. They are the only person that can access the system to change it.

Did I say they did? I just took delivery of a Grave Wagoneer, Grabbed Cherokee and Wrangler JLU in the past week. I tracked the progress by contacting Jeep chat, with an occasional text to dealer, so I want bugging him every few days.

In Stellantis land (formerly FCA) dealer's info is now accurate than Jeep chat, but I didn't want to spend there months texting "are we there yet '

Just commenting to the occasional comment here about contacting FP for updates. We found out long ago that they are not part of the process and have no new info.
I found texting my dealer late Thursday or early Friday was where the new info appeared.
Thursday is the “Action Day” for new VINs & build dates.
Jim Farley is frustrated about their poor tracking system. But haven’t seen anything improve on that front.

Early on, I texted my dealer for updates every few weeks. Once we got to the manufacturing stage, usually weekly on Thursdays. All three jeeps took between 5 and 8 weeks for transport.

Ford has dumbed down their order tracking website to point where it is almost totally worthless. If you have a good dealer, they are your best source of information.

I ordered mine directly with the dealer GM and he’s been my only contact point. They did have a ‘21 order cancelled and they now have a new RM so he’s confident he’s going to get mine built very quickly unless the color (Eruption Green) and options delay things. Still, I’d rather have the spec I ordered than removing some options to get an early build. Can’t enjoy the car in this climate til late April anyway.
I do hope Ford does change things for the better soon.
