I ordered a 2022 HE CFTP and it went built today

Mine did the same Monday. It's their first race. Which will get to home first!!!!!!!

Supposedly they are allocating 750 for August build.. if they keep that number through Sept, October and close to that for November there will be quite a few 500's built for 2022.

Mine was built and arrived at the dealer in 12 days. Picked up 4 days later.

Scumbags. Good. Hope they go to jail and are miserable. Stealing expensive prized stuff that I and many others have worked our ass off to buy legitimately.

I can't blame them for stealing the cars. It has to be easier than getting an allocation. I feel bad for the customers that ordered them.

Hi all,
Just looking for a little insight. My vehicle has been in the “in production” status since May 23. Speaking with Ford Performance, they’ve said the car is “produced” but hasn’t been released by the plant yet. They say it shows an ETA to dealer between June 20 - 26. When I asked if they know why the plant hasn’t released it yet I was told they don’t have that information.
Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this.

My 2020 GT500 did the same thing for 6 weeks. No one could tell me why. It was built but not released. Just disappeared into a black hole then one day it said shipped. Never did find out why.
One explanation someone provided (not an official Ford response) was possibly it got damaged at the plant and had to be repaired. If that was the case I was never able to find any repaired damage. The one odd thing I ever found was the driver’s headlight had a grease pencil mark on the housing under the hood. Every time I saw another GT500 at a car function, I looked for the same mark. After looking at 20 plus cars, I never saw the same mark. I thought maybe it was a quality control mark or something but never saw it on another car.
That’s all I got not to put bad thoughts in your head. In the end it was all good.

That Speed Phenom kid on YouTube had a CFTP car with painted stripes in limbo for a Loooong time. He was quite vocal about the mystery. I think he attributed it to the painted stripes.

That’s a good point. I did watch the kid on YouTube talking about it. Thing though is mine doesn’t have the CFTP or the painted stripes. It does have the tech and handling package. Maybe waiting on parts
