10K. All the dealers in the area I contacted were all at 10k, so I went with the local dealer (one said 15k if it's a golden ticket GT500). Not happy about this ADM crap, but decided I wanted a GT500.

One step closer. GM said he will finalize it Monday and get my deposit.
CFTP with HE but notice the fine print on the bottom.
In the end I think I am one step closer.

I didn't think you could get the CFTP with the heritage edition trim. ?

If anyone in this thread could advise.... I'm on the fence with the handling package (adjustable strut tops, flap, can, wickers. I'll never track the car. The wickers look cool and the catch can can't hurt. Am I losing resale and collector value without those options? I can get a can and some wickers later for $500. The cost on this car with ADM is already killing me. But I don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish. 🤔

You must have a catch can to keep oil out of the super charger. The FP part is very nice. But any aftermarket version will work.

If you aren’t going to track the car, don’t need any of the other stuff.

That was the initial thought because the order guide did not say you could but it also did not say you could not. The GT350 had the option for both the R and non-R so why not the GT500? It let the GM do it in the system so it appears you can.

and I went with the ADM option even though I swore I wouid never pay one. 😞
Super excited to get this car. Good times ahead.

Forgot to ask if it comes with a special HE car cover. Probably won't use it anyway. I'm driving the F out of this thing when it gets here.

Still don't get how you did this. Haha. Both my local dealers have told me the order windows for 2022s are not open yet.

I think they tell us whatever they want at the time. One dealer salesman told me "Ford is on vacation till January 15th". Then 20 min later his manager said, "We have a phone conference tomorrow with Ford to see if we can get more allocations."

The dealer who took my deposit and gave me my contract today said he's placing the order "right now" after we sealed the deal.

I just know they have my deposit and I have a signed contract with an order #, and priority code. 🤞

Did they mention what their allocation allotment is? I had two dealers say they get 2 a year unless they trade for or buy someone elses car. They also said they have to "pay" to be able to sell Shelby's. Also, I've heard and seen dealer ADMs for this Heritage version up to 25k. However, I've already heard a few stories about MSRP for a non HE non CFTP. It's the wild west out there. What are you looking for exactly?

No ones knows exactly what’s going on and won’t know 100% until actual allocations are assigned but you can make a pretty good guess. All dealerships get the shot at one non-CFTP car. Historically that has been the case. To get a CFTP car the dealership has to either trade for one from another dealership or are already a Ford Performance dealership and sell enough Shelby’s to know they will get a CFTP allotment or 2 plus several base cars because they have sold that many in previous years. It’s not really a mystery as to what a dealership should get if the recent history on the GT350 and GT500 holds true.
Two simple questions to ask the GM is how many GT500s did they sell last year and how many allocations did they get?
If the answer is none, one, or two GT500s, not likely they will get an allocation for a CFTP. They can always trade for one though.
