Let me attempt to put this to rest because I know this is what some people are thinking, and it’s totally understandable. There is and will not be any greater value of a 2021 vs. a 2022, even with the 10 up difference between the two. Look at ‘03-‘04. They look the same. Even with a one year color like Comp Orange, or a model exclusive like Azure Blue, that doesn’t even command more of a premium. What future value will come down to is condition, rare options like leather Recaros, rear seat deletes, and handling packs, documentation/provenance, and what many don’t want to hear… stock vs. modified and lower mileage.

For me it is very cool that Eruption Green is a one year only color, and I don't care if it changes the value in the future, as I don't plan on selling until I can't physically drive it anymore.
People in the know, will always know what year my Mach is, and it's not one of the half that are FJG.

For me, it's simply another fact of the times and production I'd like to know. Kind of like how some people keep track of and discuss sports statistics.

At the rate things have gone this year at Flat Rock, I would be surprised if MY2022 gets within 1000 of MY2021 production. I would think that total Mach1 units for the two year run would be between 10 and 11 thousand, maybe closer to 10.

Eruption green looks awesome. To be honest, I was regretting getting FJG and not eruption. I had a Royal Crimson EB and most people commented how they’ve never seen that color in a mustang and how cool it was.
The FJG is getting peoples attention and I only had it for a day. After seeing it in the dealership I felt in love with it again. Talked to the manager and they said they’ve only sold 3 Mach 1 and this is the only one in that color so far. So I’m sure I might be one of the only Mach1 in this area.
I hope you get your number, but mine was done a day after yours and it’s 2901. So I’m sure yours will be in the 2600-2800 range.

Yeah, since mine was BUILT a week before yours, it will probably be a little lower than yours.
How yours got there first I'd really like to know. This whole build and ship thing at Ford has been a three ring circus, complete with clowns, elephants, trapeze act and a guy shot out of a cannon. The only difference is, a real circus has a Ringmaster telling you what's up next.
