2023 Chassis Numbers

I wish I had ordered Recaros. I didn't as salesman said supply chain issues were causing problems. And I ordered it two weeks before order banks closed for 2023 Mustangs. So to avoid risk, I went with standard seats. Oh well. They are comfy for longer hauls so it was probably for the best.

I have a build/blend date of 03/15/2023. When was the last week of production?

P2727 (Which I kind of think is a cool chassis number lol) Build date of 2023-03-27.

While at Ponies in the Smokies, I talked to the Ford Show Parts guy. He told me that they were finishing up the Mach 1's and Ford had to verify the final numbers but his recollection was there were around 20,000 Mach 1s built over the three years (not sure if thats just US or globally) and FJG was by far the most popular color.

Early April from what I heard.

Looks like mine was built the day before yours.

Weird about the 20,000 because from what has supposedly been proven by employees at ford there was:
2021- 6,323
2022- 6,137
2023-3,028?

And 2023 was a half year. So his guesstimate is off or the employees were off. It would mean someone was off by around 4512. So was 2023 a full year and not a half year?

I thought 23 mustangs were built Dec 2022 to the end of March 23 . Making it the shortest mustang production run ever.

Yes 2023 was supposed to be a really short production year because I could not do a build my own in Feb, they told me no more orders. I don't know, we will find out if the numbers ever come out.

Says 3030 Mach 1's made for 2023 but they included two that they say prob don't exist but they do include the vin. I would guess then 3028 is the correct answer then. Still waiting on official word though.

23 production stopped in early April of 23, tomorrow is August 1st of 25. It's been over 2 years, the numbers should be out by now.
