My car randomly started having this issue where I get a bunch of “ghost” inputs where my car automatically is touching the touchscreen without me actually doing anything and it’s gotten to the point where driving the car can be miserable as I essentially have no control over the infotainment screen. I tried seeing if my screen was dirty and cleaned it using a lightly damped cloth but it was to no avail. The issue stopped for 5 or so minutes before resurfacing again. I’ve attached some videos to give y’all some perspective.
Questions:
Is this a commen issue that has a “fix it at home solution” and if it’s not, would it be covered by my bumper to bumper warranty (car has 9k miles on it)
Anything helps as I’m losing my mind driving a car that I otherwise love driving.

it would definitely be covered by your warranty.

No, I don't think there's something you can do about it at home. It looks like a physical defect to me. I'd take it back to the dealership and have the unit replaced under warranty.

If a master reset does not work, then it is time head to the dealer to get it fixed. When strange things start happening with sync, a full reboot of the system is the first thing i always try.
