The because I have to know file. So driving around yesterday I noticed by IAT2 around 118-124 degrees. As soon as I stop at a light it jumps to 140. Ait temps around 80 degrees. Start moving it drops back down. When I got home I let it sit in the garage it get up to 159.. I turned the fan on and idling it held at that temp.

So this morning I took a look at the flow. Being a bypass system, you can't see it flow. I tried to pinch off the hose but you can't get in there to do it. What I noticed is it seems the pump doesn't come on unless the throttle is open. Is this correct.? With the fan off, idling, the IATs hold steady. Fan comes on, holds steady. Give it some throttle, the IATs drop 10 to 20 degrees.

So what is the operating criteria of this system? It seems to be working but it appears certain conditions need to be met for the pump to come on.

You can reach your hand in behind the radiator and pinch off at the T for the hoses that run to the degas bottle. You wont see much if any flow in the bottle until you do that. Pumps should run all the time when the car is on. mine actually starts running when I open the door. Yes you will get high IAT2's with the Roush 2650. A chiller system will eliminate that. I have the IC Chiller. I did several pulls yesterday back to back and the temps climbed up to around 125 and then came back down to around 100*. Gets even colder if I flip the drag race button on and eliminate the cabin AC. I used IC chiller brand. Its plug and play, no hacking up your AC system. Reach out those guys. They are great guys and will get you hooked up.

The only way I can reach that hose is to remove air intake tubing. I tried to get a long pair of needle nose in there with no luck. I'm not sure what year your car is but I think roush changed how the 20 and up cars work. The temps come down In a hurry if you run the fans and open the throttle a bit OR if you are moving. It would be nice to know how the system is suppose to operate. I'm just going by what I see.

@DF19RS3 does the no-hack system replace ac refrigerant lines?,
I think you splice into them. For what I use the car for, I'm reluctant to hack in a rocker switch to enable full AC to the IC.

Mine is a 2019. Same SC set up and intake tube. I guess my arms aren’t as big as yours lol. It’s a pain but I can get in there just enough to do it. I know several others have as well. I will if I can attach a video a guy made for me on how to actually do it.

I have the stock smaller oval shaped radiator bottle. That’s why I can get in there. You have the larger radiator aftermarket tank.
Yes. Nice tank. But it's big

yeah the shop sucked it all it out and then refilled per IC CHiller instructions.
I managed to get my hand down to the parallel hose. I had to pull the bolts out of the IC tank so it could move a bit. I pinched the line with my hand and I see the coolant bubbling when I do that.

Here's the thing. The engine has to be running. With the just power on....nothing. as soon as it's running you can see the bubbles.

I could actually see the water movement in my tank..It must be in the program that mine runs with the car on accessory or when the door opens. When i shut the car off it still runs for about 2 minutes as well.

See if you can get into this link
