2021 GT

I guess for investors that rarely if ever drive the car this makes sense, but for anyone not doing that or not planning to drive the LeMans, the new Corvette really shakes up this supercar/exotic thing. The C8 is ever bit 80% or more of most of these cars in performance at a fraction of the cost. The Z06 is probably going to significantly close that remaining gap. My opinion of course. If I didn't need two rear seats, there is a good chance I would be in a C8. I think they nailed it.

no shit. we close in 2 weeks on a house and my wife made some comment the other night about......"you know if we didn't have the mustang payment that money could go to some fun home improvement projects every month." she doesn't seem to realize the home is improved by having the mach 1 in the garage!


i don't exactly run in a circle of people that buy and sell these cars but years ago i met a guy that had a red GT, i believe it was a 2005. he had installed long tubes and used it almost daily. if i remember correctly he had about 30k miles on it by 2010. super cool car guy that you would have never guessed had a gt.

No tick, because the GT has no V8 anymore, just a lowly turbocharged V6.

In 2019 they were going for 400k when you ordered from the factory but you had to qualify to buy one. You had to donate to charity. Be an upstanding citizen, no criminal record, and you couldn’t sell it for at least a year and 1k miles. This is what a sales guy told me.

Supposedly you'd get black listed or something, as if it would matter though. They don't release cars like this often enough.

Honestly though as amazing as these are on track, they're a collector car through and through. Nobody will ever drive them.

The purchase contract included language preventing someone from flipping the car. John Cena got caught doing this and had to pay ford.
