2021 GT Just Lowered - Pics attached

Hey All,

Just got my 2021 Mustang GT PP1 just lowered. I used the Ford Performance Street lowering springs. 1 Inch drop all around. I would have liked the rear slightly lower, it doesn't look like it dropped the full 1 inch, but i'm happy with it either way. I love the new stance. I've got 25mm spacers ready to throw on, this weekends project.

Car rides amazing, a little stiffer, and i can feel the steering a bit more responsive. Factory dampers and non mag ride. So far happy with the outcome. Let me know your thoughts.

Thank You! No other mods planned. Maybe just a cold air intake, but other than that i think i'm just focused on the visual aspect and i feel springs and spacers are all i needed. Eventually down the road maybe rims, but that's a costly proposition, so the spacers will fill that need.

It will get lower once the springs settle.

Looks great! Who did the install and did they do a proper alignment (including clocking the bushings)? I plan on doing springs myself but need to know where to get a good alignment.
Have you noticed the rear end bounces on the PP1? I had to upgrade the rear dampers on my car to the Ford track versions. Huge improvement.

I had the install done at a Ford Dealership, and yes they did the allignment. I'm assuming the clocked the bushings as they are the dealer, but i can't say for certain. I hope so. lol.

I don't notice the bounce, i haven't really dirven the car too hard yet though. Still breaking it in. But so far i think the car handles great.

You don't really have to drive it hard to feel the bounce. Just driving down our wonderfully "smooth" roads it will do it.

Give it time. It will settle.

Damn, does it glow in the dark?

Just teasing the car looks great, probably one of the rarer exterior colors from the S550 palette too.

As others have said, give it a week or two and you’ll really see a difference once the springs have settled. I’ve always installed lowering springs and usually within 5-7 days the suspension really settles and closes the wheel to fender gap even more.

Looks great! I also lowered mine with the same springs and felt the same way... wished the rear end had dropped a bit more. The front is perfect. The look improved when I ditched the stock wheels.

Thanks. Your car looks absolutely stunning and perfect. I have 25mm spacers that I’m going to put on which I hope gives it some visual pizzaz as I can’t afford to invest in new rims right now. That is this weekend plan

Appreciate it! Definitely understand. I waited until I needed my first new set of tires before getting new wheels.
