So after 2 years in a f150 I no longer have a need for a truck and am looking at mustangs again.

a 20 mustang lime green with 401a is like 42 with x plan which seems so high for a mustang . Only new thing I see is rev matching

Am I better off getting a 19 and wrapping it green if that’s what I want?

buying after Chicago winter

Now is the time to buy. They're giving them away.

You're not going to save money with a wrap. If you need the green, buy the new one. If you want a deal, go for a left over.

This is my eternal struggle every time I buy a car. I want that discount, but nobody has the color I want. I actually compromised this time. I wanted Lightening Blue with 101A, which nobody within 1000 miles had at the time. Kona Blue, it is.

I don’t really want to buy with winter coming next month . The f150 can get me through winter this year then in April mustang

The19 has rev matching as well as the one year Need for Green color. 19 will be less where it's pretty much clearance time. Only thing is GT premium with the 401A is 43,125.00 when you build it on the site. Should be able to get one on the lot for much less.

Ya to me it’s just a matter of how much cheaper the 19 could potentially be. And while I know now is a good time to buy I don’t want to run out and buy winter tires . Rather let the truck do it’s job and I can save more for March or April

if I can get a 19 gt 401a grey for 37ish I would rock that color and wrap it . But that lime green is sick to me . Has been my fav dodge color (sublime green)

If the financial means anything to you, you buy now. They're doing 0% financing, and super cheap prices on Mustangs right now. Just buy it and stick it in the garage, and drive it on nice days. You'll always have your trunk for the bad weather.

You will spend a ton more $$ buying next spring.

Well then the Mustang gets driven in the winter earlier.....no biggie. And the money you'll save will buy your snow tires a few times over.

But, it's your call.

IM not sure where you live but wrapping a car is not cheap not for a good job. you are looking at 5 to 7 k and even then wraps don't last forever they start coming off after 3 to 4 years. Some wraps even say do not leave on longer than 3 years. I would say get new and get color you want.
5-7k is pretty excessive for a normal color.

Most places I've seen will do a quality job for 3-4k.

If your talking about buying in the Spring than new 2019's are going to be pretty scarce. Ford will probably have 0% financing in March for 2020's. You may find a good deal on top of that but it is still going to be more than buying 2019 now. Besides there are green ones available now. Here are 5 within 200 miles of Chicago.

The guys are right. If you want the best deal, do now. What real difference is it if you drive it this winter or next?

If you really want green, I'd just get the green man. No use in settling if you won't be satisfied after dropping a bunch of money down on a car.

I really wanted an Orange Fury 2018 but I settled for a 2016 ingot silver because it was a great deal.

While I love my car, I still want a 18-19 Orange Fury

There is no need to struggle. If you can do it buy a new car. Order what you want ,order the color, and sit back you can still deal when the car is delivered. You want it and they want to sell it to you. There is a lot of room to deal. I did this with my last 4 Mustangs.
