Yeah unfortunately it's late in the game for 2020s. Your best bet is probably to agree on a decent price for a 2021 allocation and spec it yourself, or wait and see if any of these 2020s with crazy mark ups are still around by then, then hope they actually lower the price of them. You may find cocky dealers still sitting on 2020s well into the next model year's run.

Sooner or later they learn. 2021 should bring a market correction

I was thinking of you and felt bad for you in your situation when I took delivery of the my car today. I was elated with the car until my son and I took a closer inspection of the car. We noticed that there was a small crack webbing on the bumper on one of expensive Penske stripes! Ford and the dealer missed it! My dealer has a message into his rep to determine how to resolve the problem. My happiness bubble had a big leak! I hope they resolve the issue quickly, but I am sure it means going to a body shop. I wish Tom and me good luck.

Could be. It looks like something from underneath is trying to push through the bumper. What a disappointment for an over a one year wait! Still, it is a much better car than my 2013 GT500. I can’t remember which forum member asked, while this car is better than the 2013, my 2015 gull wing Mercedes Benz SLS GT AMG Final Edition is, in my opinion, still a better car, especially in the interior quality and fit and finish of the car. I also like the ride and handling of the SLS over the 2020 GT500. That said, this GT500 is one heck of a car to drive! The exhaust sound of the GT500 is “music” to my ears!

just checked my splitter and there is a bolt between the L and the B. Seems to me somehow a bolt that was too long could’ve got put in there and caused that spider crack.

Probably not. Something from underneath looks like is trying to pop through the bumper. Venomous is probably right. Hopefully Ford will make it right and cost me just my time running between the dealer or a body shop and no more money. I never thought I would have ever paid over $105,000 for a Mustang. It is a fun car! My Porsches and Mercedes Benzes cost a lot more than the Mustang, but the Mustang has a unique personality to it! Still glad I bought it.

just checked my splitter and there is a bolt between the L and the B. Seems to me somehow a bolt that was too long could’ve got put in there and caused that spider crack.

This is my guess as well. Me thinks someone put the wrong length bolt where it shouldn't be...Even if it's not there now, it may have been inserted with a battery tool till it was too late, then removed to cover the tracks....just saying.

Don't feel bad for me. Feel bad that the system is so screwed up. I have said this before. I will get my car. I will probably be happy with that car. However there is no way I can continue with the FP brand with complete loyalty.

I hear you. I would be in the same boat as you if I do not have a new Ford GT coming. Otherwise the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 would be the last car! Good luck with your adventure!
