CC...are you saying the shipping spacers only come on the CFTP and the R's?
If that's true, I stand corrected.
Yes. I didnt see your post, but the 350Rs and CFTP have different suspensions that are lower. They put the spacers in to give about another 1" of clearance for shipping.

Good to know. I was under the impression they came on all 350's & 500's.

For Those Keeping Score

There have been 4599 VINs issued.
52 VINs Cancelled
Which leaves approx 453 more VINs to be issued. Assuming the 5000 total is still in effect.

If anyone still can't get their hands on a GT500 and has a massive hole burning in your pocket, there's a grabber lime base with HP (in trunk) and Tech, no recaros, carbon dash, at Autonation Sanford FL for an offensively whopping 107k.

Oh yeah, I told them too. They seemed confident it would sell regardless lol

Greedy.

And I'll be honest, those vinyl stripes kinda look like shit. First time seeing the lime in person though, like it more than I thought I would.

They also had a beautifully optioned manual PP1 in Kona with recaros + blue stitching which was really cool.

Yes, I have been searching high and low, and FL, CA, TX all laugh at me thinking I can get a base for less than 25k markup. So far, they been close, showtime ford in TN is 15k. Well for a magnetic one 15k is the lowest I found. With ford moving right into the 2021 hope these dealers get stuck with these.

Yes, I have been searching high and low,
For those who have purchased multiple Ford 350/500's over the years, and you may be one of those folks, Jesse, but I'm wondering if the number 5000 is typical for a MY production? Assuming it is or nearly so, I'm wondering because of the much higher than normal ADM's. It almost seems like they're increasing rather than decreasing as one might expect.

I realize that it's a standout vehicle but I have to admit, I'm amazed at what you said, Jesse.

I suggest that the biggest year for the GT350/GT350R was 2017. I believe a total of 6173 of these cool cars were produced of which 942 were R models. Now I suggest if you haven't driven a 2020 GT350R, I suggest you do so, LOL.

The 2016 gt350 were going for med. to high markup, but it died off. I got my 2017 for 2k under the msrp. I just figured with them running into the 2021 build the markups would drop. That's prob why my dealer said no more vin, when that isn't true. they realized they made a mistake at
only 5k markup. lol

Jesse: I'd bet that there's a good chance your suggestion is a fairly common malady for those stores who handled the early orders.

I may have to ask the inventory guy at mine, he might fess up. But, I did get an agreement with them over a year prior when I bought a pickup and said I wanted a '20 500 as soon as one can be ordered for $Xk over. They agreed and sold me the truck. As is often the case, if you luck out and find yourself in the right place at the right time, good things can happen.

Yeah unfortunately it's late in the game for 2020s. Your best bet is probably to agree on a decent price for a 2021 allocation and spec it yourself, or wait and see if any of these 2020s with crazy mark ups are still around by then, then hope they actually lower the price of them. You may find cocky dealers still sitting on 2020s well into the next model year's run.
