Haven't seen this discussed anywhere does the 2020 500 exhaust resemble the 350's with a high flow design with bullet style resonators or does it not include resonators like the 350r.

I don't think we have any underbody shots of the car yet. I figure we don't even know how much power it makes yet so the exhaust system is probably also a mystery.

I like to disassemble things.
GT500 exhaust looks to be similar to that of the regular GT350. I see resonators...

So an X-pipe and tiny bullet resonators. This thing is going to be loud af, unless those mufflers do a significant amount of noise reduction!

GT500 shot...

I assume that is from the reveal in Detroit. Hadn't seen that one before and it's the best undercar shot I've seen to date. Thanks.

Agree.

I still see the voodoo vibration dampeners there. Tough to say if they’re still tuned for the same frequency and maintaining the same mass, but why not get rid of them?

That and the resonators could likely rid 30-40lbs.

I'm looking close and I don't see any dampers on there. Where are you seeing them?

No actually you’re probably right.

I thought I saw on the right cat (drivers side) a hanger welded with a lump into the air shield. Doesn’t appear to be.

Good catch.

I also don't see the ~13lbs worth of dampers that the GT350 has at the transmission crossmember either. Maybe this one is smooth as silk throughout the range.:)

It should be. Maybe they’ll claim the removal of the mass as “reduction”. Lol.

People need to realize that the gt350 voodoo isn’t the only car that uses these dampers. Many new cars and trucks use them. I see them on many makes and models daily.
