It drives good. Only problem is the power is like an on/off switch. It’s either WOT or it drives just like stock. WOT it pulls hard, but part throttle acceleration is underwhelming.

The tune has the limiter set to 7k in 6th and 7th gear.

I agree, but I’m not so concerned with the numbers. May go with a custom tune soon anyway to resolve any issues.

UPDATE: After more seat time, I can definitively say that this EB 91 tune is terrible.

Driveability is not always great and the power delivery is an on/off switch with absolutely no ability to manipulate the throttle. There is no power at 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 throttle until you go WOT.

I’m definitely not getting my money’s worth out of this PD blower so I will likely go with a custom tune soon and potentially e85. Not looking for a lot of power, but something that has more snap and is reliable while retaining stock headers. Will probably do OPG/CS and fuel system at same time.

Update #2: I was having significant issues with the tune. Flat spots with virtually no throttle response during random cruising and also when coming out of boost. Then it went in limp mode out of nowhere and CEL came on. I pulled three codes all related to PCM inputs- throttle position, IAT sensor, and ABS.

I decided to revert the tune back to stock and then re-program the car with the EB tune. So far, driveability has improved drastically now that the TB is operating properly. There is still somewhat of an on/off switch, but much better than before.

Still may go the custom tune route and I have OPG/CS on order.

Do you have a carb # for your kit? I ended up switching to a whipple for my 2020 because it was being ordered and built in Ohio and they wouldn't ship it over to CA unless it was carb legal. Edlebrock 2020 gt tunes weren't certified yet, was told probably not until February or later. Wasn't willing to wait. Car is shipping over next week

The kit has the CARB sticker, but the CARB letter isn’t specific to the 2020 yet.

I was having this issue and it turned out to be the throttle body. Like you I reset to stock with the stock TB and then it was fine for awhile. The issue kept happening so Edelbrock replaced the TB and I havent had an issue ever since.

Also, the weirdest thing happend to me before I replaced the TB. The plug going into the throttle body looked like it melted on the inside and there was some grease on the inside, which to me looked like dielectric grease although neither me nor the installer put it on there. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it, I replaced the connector before the TB went on and its been perfect ever since.

That’s crazy. Thanks for the info. So far so good since I reloaded the tune, but I’ll look out for that if it returns.
