2020 5.0 x pipe opinion please...steeda vs?

Hey folks, I apologize if this has been covered but I looked all through the forum and in old threads.
I finally got myself my toy, a low km 2022 gt with the performance pack and active valve exhaust, and I wanted to do an X-Pipe.

I have googled and watched videos and what I was wondering was this...

Steeda has a great video where they dyno test their X and H pipes and show the gains on the dyno.
I would like to go with an X, and like the sound of the steeda unit in their video (and other videos).

However in Canada it is harder to track down a steeda, and they will cost closer to 500 to 700 dollars depending on where I get it from.

The steeda looks great, and the crossover looks very clean.

I have also seen the MBRP and the PYPES x pipes and although to me they do not look as good, they are a lot more cost effective (200-250ish).

Just wondering if an X pipe is an X pipe, or if folks have really seen the steeda being with the expense.

They are all either an X or h pipe for the cross over. Between the brands you mentioned, they can all do the job. I've heard each and depending on the rest of your setup, it will determine the sound. Esp of you have active.

Make sure you get a 304 stainless pipe and not 409...

Steeda X on a 22 Mach 1 w/ active. Quite mode is quieter than stock which I like for starts in the AM. Otherwise the X sounds incredible to me. I have only praise for the welds and ease of installation.

While not an X-pipe, I did try a cheaper brand for my H-pipe at first and fitment was not great, ended up getting the Steeda anyways in the end.

My steeda H pipe had the word "Made in Canada" stamped on the tubing , LOL.
I questioned that as it says Made in America in their ad. The material came from Canada.
Just a useless fact.

I have the Steeda H pipe for about 4 years now and it sounded amazing with my active exhaust from day 1. I'd bite the bullet and pay for what you know is good!

Canada being part of North America qualifies for their Made in America statement.

Made in U.S.A. is what you'd want if you were being picky.

I think the problem with ordering anything out of the states right now is that I'm going to be on the hook for the 25% steel import tarriff. So unless someone has stock in Canada I may be up the creek. The MBRP is made in Canada and seems to be a cross between an X and and H pipe, although they call it and X.

It looks nice, sounds good...

I was laughing at him saying his x pipe is quieter than his resonator.

The x pipe in quiet mode is quieter than the stock pipe in quite mode. I’m not sure why you find that to be funny. But enjoy yourself.

x pipe makes it louder on all of the cars I've seen when only changing out the resonator to an x or h. Usually when you send more sound to a muffler it doesn't make it quieter. It must be special, I mean it is a M1 after all.
