Hey everyone,

I recently got new tires, so I decided to do an alignment at jiffy lube. Does anyone know if it's correct? I tried to see if there was some specs online but I couldn't find anything. I put the OEM tires, 275 rear, and 255 front

Thank you

I hate to tell you this, but the alignment was better before they adjusted it other than the front toe reading. All readings should show in the green and all that really should have been changed was the front toe out. Now the camber on the left front and rear wheels is way too negative.

I would take it back and have them correct it, actually I would not let them touch it again but rather ask for your money back and go somewhere else that actually knows what they are doing.

Did they remove and refit the kit between doing the before and after readings ?

I’m wondering how they could have messed the rear up so badly - did they even do any work on the rear ?

These cookie cutter manufacturer spec charts they use are terrible and have very wide windows of acceptance. Bring in your own specs and tell them to get it close to them as they can. That left rear is horrible.

Also, I highly recommend installing Steeda subframe alignment dowels, then get it aligned again to a spec that works best for your driving style etc.

Unless he installed camber plates in the front, I have no clue as to how they changed the front camber so drastically since it is nonadjustable without plates. If the Bullitt had adjustable camber plates from the factory, then they really have no clue what they are doing.

Again, IMO toe is all that should have been adjusted on front and rear by evening the readings from side-to-side and reducing the front toe out to toe in.

From their numbers it appears that total camber front and rear is the same for both readings, just misplaced from side to side. I would guess that they did not adjust camber (since the front is not adjustable) and that they set up their alignment system incorrectly for the 2nd pass.

You can check camber numbers like those by eyeball, see if the left and right sides look wildly different.

Either way, I would be very concerned about going back there since it looks like they have no idea what they are doing.

As already mentioned, the only thing that's good about your alignment is the font toe. I'd ask them if the tech even looked at the numbers when done. That's annoying they'd let this roll out the door. You don't want that much (none is the goal) thrust angle in the rear. But fixing the toe will fix that. Idiots!

I'm also curious how they changed the front camber without you (or them) adding aftermarket parts.

They've made it quite a bit worse other than making front toe even. Is your car even driving straight with rear toe being so different ?

Hey everyone,

Sorry I cannot reply to all of you. I had a feeling the numbers look wrong. The car drives fine and it stays straight. I'm probably just going to the ford dealership and get it done by them. Btw I didn't add any after market parts to my car for them to give me those alignment numbers. My car is completely stock.

Thanks

Then that makes your front camber numbers even more f***ed up. At a minimum, go get your money back and have someone show the tech or supervisor what kind of garbage they are rolling out the door.

Something wrong here, no way, without camber plates, that you can have -2.5 camber on front left and what about positive camber on front right ??????
Get your money back and have the alignment done by someone that knows what they are doing
All together it was better before they messed with it

Hey everyone,

So update, I called American tires and they said I can take it back and get it adjust to my liking. What do y'all say, go back or just get my money back and go to ford.

Thank you

Ask for a different tech and talk to the manager before hand. The person who did the work is supposed to be properly trained yet saw nothing wrong with the sheet of info he gave you???

I would get my money back and go to ford or ask friends recommendations for quality aftermarket shops in your area that they have used with good results. Local parts houses generally have an inside track on the good shops as well.

Well, their print out is wrong. I would ask for a refund and go somewhere else
As someone mentioned you can also talk to the manager and see if he understands the issue
You can’t get -2.5 camber in front.
