Boring and soulless like all of there other over priced crap. The way the lower front bumper drips and spreads out looks horrible. Sorry but no Mustang is ever worth that much money and it was never meant to be.
And the new S550 Mustang GT is worth $50,000 +++ ??? You are right NOOOOOOOO Mustang is worth that, worse yet they don't even look like a Mustang anymore since the Euro look happened:doh:

No dude, thats silly, those cars actually handle and run decent lap times.
Shelby does not develop track grade performance cars anymore.
No trans, oil, diff coolers, etc.
Its all marketing = overpriced crap...
Carroll had hustling, marketing, technical, driving, and interpersonal skills to run a competition shop. He died. RIP.
The current marketing is beating a dead horse for cash. The closest that they had to grassroots racing or being active in competition motorsports was “Shelby” only track day programs: cancelled for lack of attendance.

Not that I would ever buy one even if I had the money, but the fact that it is track only makes it more stupid. A little more than $200K gets you a GT3 Mustang which would be a better track car than this and built by Ford Racing.

These third party tuner cars no longer excite me at all. Since Ford stepped up their game with the Mustang GT awhile back, and then introduced the insane stable of in house shelbies, the BOSS, (and before that the terminator cobras) I have seen no need to look toward third parties. They had a place in the 90s when the camaro was emasculating the sn-95.......

If I had to pick one I'd pick the roush setups because they're at least attractive. Even counting those id take a really clean and optioned out Mustang GT from ford over any of these, even for same money.
Agreed. Hard to beat OEM performance without as many gimmicks. Also agree on the Roush - they look the closest to an engineered OEM solution and you can buy them at many Ford dealers.

Well Shelby of America is having a hard time trying to justify their existence. Ford is building the marque Shelby nameplates. The old man is dead. They need cars like this to attempt to stand out. I like what they did in concept, though I’d never purchase one. For one the cost is just too much. Out the door your past $200k. But I do like the fact of TD not a badge job. Anyone can do a small aero kit, throw forced induction and some badges and call it a tunner. Going with the 5.2L block and a HUGE 4.7L supercharged means at least you know your powertrain is different that what most people will ever see. And they wide body again is something you won’t see. Is it worth 200k? Not for me. But people pay a premium for a Shelby Registry. That’s the whole point anyway. There is a market for everyone after all!

I kind of like it, but no way would I spend $200K for it. I just dropped just over $50K and that was enough for me. I do agree that the wide body fenders do look better than a bolt on, but not worth that kind of coin for a car that can only go to car shows, race tracks or my barn.
